Marko Rodin picked up an ancient strand of mathematical thought, and developed it thoroughly. His idea, "Vortex Mathematics" is based on the idea of "carrying the nines" to find patterns in number sequences, such as (1,2,4,8,16,32,...) and (1,1,2,3,5,8,...). From here he builds a toroid shape that he says can explain the nature of the universe on all levels.
